Welltech K-1000 USB Phone
This is SIPME preferred and recommended SIP hardware phone. It is easy to install
and use.
Cost: AUD $60 (around USD $46)

Advantages:
- Low cost
- Connect directly into a USB port
- No local ethernet network is required
Disadvantages:
- A separate softphone is required to run on the host PC to
control the USB phone
PCPhoneline USB Phone
This is an integrated SIP gateway and USB phoneset. Once
installed, this USB phone does not require a separate softphone/dialer
to run on the PC.
Cost: AUD $65 (around USD $49)

Advantages:
- Low cost USB phone
- Once installed, do not require a separate softphone or dialer on
the host PC to operate
- No local ethernet network is required
Disadvantages:
PCPhoneline USB-to-RJ11 Adapter
The
USB-to-RJ11 adapter allows you to convert any normal telephone handset
to a SIP phone.
Cost: AUD $80 (around USD $59)

Advantages:
- Can use existing analog telephone
- Connect a cordless telephone and you have a wireless SIP phone!
Disadvantages:
SIPURA SIP Adapter
The
Sipura SIP adapter allows you to connect & convert standard
telephone and fax machines to SIP devices. This adapter is
suited to any home, small offices or businesses requiring to connect
multiple analog telephones.
Models available: SPA-1000,
SPA-2000 and SPA-3000
Cost: from AUD $150 to AUD $200
(plus any shipping charges)
Advantages:
- High quality SIP adapter
- Can connect multiple analog phones
- SPA-3000 model has an FXO port to connect a telephone line,
this will allow traditional PSTN by-pass or when your IP link is
down.
Disadvantages:
- Higher cost than other adapters
- More advance configurations are required
- Require to have an local ethernet network/router
