SIPME NEW PRICING PLANS

Starting 1st March 2009, SIPME is introducing two new pricing plans. The old prepaid plan and rates will no longer be offered. Existing customers can have the choice of remaining on the old prepaid pricing plan or migrate to the pricing plan.

The two new plans are:

		SIPME LITE PLAN Payment method: prepaid No monthly fees 9.9c untimed to Australian fixed lines 25c per minute to Australia mobiles (reduced from 27c per minute) 9.9c untimed to Canada, China, Singapore, UK land lines and USA Timed destinations from 1.9c per minute

		SIPME WORLD30 PLAN Payment method: prepaid $1 weekly service fee, deducted from prepaid balance 8.5c untimed to Australian fixed lines 22c per minute to Australia mobiles 8.5c untimed to 30 selected international destinaitons, see list below Timed destinations from 1.9c per minute           The 30 destinations for the SIPME World30 Plan are: Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Canada mobiles, China, China mobiles, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hong Kong mobiles, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru Lima, Portugal, Russia Moscow, Russia St Petersburg, Singapore, Singapore mobiles, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Thailand mobiles, United Kingdom, USA, USA mobiles Mobiles are not included for countries not specifically mentioned in the above list.

NEW SIGNUP PROCESS

The new sign up process will no longer ask for initial prepaid amount or credit card payment details

After sign up, customers will receive their new SIPME account and password immediately with zero balance

New accounts with zero balance can only make SIPME to SIPME calls

Customers will need to recharge their account with a prepaid balance in order to make calls to normal telephone numbers

The World30 $1 weekly fee will only start charging when you make your first call

WHAT IS SIP?

SIP is a new VoIP (Voice-over-IP) protocol, which enables two or more people to make calls to each other using the Internet to carry the call, instead of using the traditional public telephone network.  These calls are defined as "On-Net" calls.

As calls are routed through the Internet and do not go through any traditional telephone providers, all SIP to SIP calls are FREE, therefore all SIPME customers with SIP phones can call each other FREE, 24 hours a day.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO GET STARTED?

Have an existing broadband Internet connection, like ADSL, Cable or Wireless, Internet access at a hotel or airport Obtain either a SIP hardware adapter or free SIP softphone For free "On-Net" (SIP to SIP) calls, both call parties must be registered with SIPME and have SIP hardware adapter or softphone. To make low cost call to other non-SIP numbers (ordinary phone numbers) all over the world, you will need to open a SIPME Prepaid Minutes account.

SIPME SIP can work with dial-up connections too! However broadband will give a much better and consistent voice quality.
